Following a chance meeting with Margaret, a woman experiencing homelessness in London and in need of help, I was inspired to delve deeper into the real people affected, and tackling this problem as well as what is being, and can be done in our city. My research took me to Nishkam SWAT, a Sikh organisation helping the homeless with their toolkit of compassion, forgiveness, empathy, love and humility. This documentary style film was directed, written, edited and performed by me for my university dissertation.
